Why are you doing this ?

We believe the single greatest obstacle to dismantling homophobia is invisibility. Invisibility breeds ignorance. Ignorance creates fear. And fear maintains oppression. We’re doing this to show everyone that people like us exist in every country, in every society, in every corner of the world.

This video was inspired by Ahmet is My Family and is a tribute to all the lives that we’ve lost in one way or another to homophobia and transphobia. Each of the portraits you see on the right represents a life that we've lost because of prejudice and discrimination gone wrong. Click on each of them to find out more about their stories. It's about time we stood up and said NO MORE!
