Take part in the IDAHO Challenge and help fight homophobia and transphobia!

April 7th, 2009

Dear Gays.com family,

Time really flies and in just another five weeks or so we’ll be celebrating our first birthday!

Our anniversary on 17 May 2009 coincides with a very important day in the gay calendar — the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia (IDAHO) — and we wanted to do something meaningful to celebrate it. The idea is simple: We want to send the world a present in the form of a video that will be released on IDAHO 2009. And we want you to be a part of it!

Simply get in front of a video camera, smile and in your own language say your name, where you come from and how proud you are to be gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender. It’s really easy and will just take a few minutes! Once you’re done, just go to http://gays.com/idaho and upload your video, or email it to us at idaho@gays.com. If you don’t have a video camera, you can simply use your webcam and record right from the website!
