Hello homos, here are the fabulous pictures of our launch party on May 17, that we promised you earlier. In case you’re wondering where this is, yes we’ve chosen to launch our party on the International Day Against Homophobia in Shanghai, China and in a bar right in the heart of the gaybourhood there called Shanghai Studio (yes, China may not be the first gay paradise that comes to mind, but Shanghai does have its own gaybourhood!). Many members of the online group Shanghai LGBT turned out in full force to show us their support, and the city’s favourite drag queen, Gwen de Tempe, also graced us with her presence to raise funds for the victims of the great Sichuan earthquake which is likely to have a total death toll of 80,000 or more (and to counter some of the madness that’s been coming out from the GodHatesFags group). All in all, it was great to see so many people come together for such a great cause.
