Get ready to live it up with Gays.com CityScene!

July 21st, 2009 4 Comments Features

For those of you who’ve been wondering what the Gays.com team has been up to lately, the answer is that we’ve been working in stealth mode for quite a while on a big new feature called CityScene that we believe will be of great help to you in navigating the gay scene wherever you may be.

This is our answer to the likes of Yelp and Qype — a user-generated directory of listings that will guide you to all the most happening gay bars, clubs, hotels, restaurants, gyms, community centres and other assorted LGBT businesses in the city  you live in or travel to.

In the first phase of the rollout which happens later this week, CityScene will  be available in the following 25 cities: Calgary, Chicago, Edmonton, Montreal, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, vancouver, Washington, Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, London, Manchester, Paris, Stockholm, Beijing, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Singapore, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

If you live in any of these cities, congratulations — make sure you get yourself ready as we’ll be counting on YOU to tell us what’s going on in your city! If not, don’t worry as you’ll still be able to check out what’s going on in these cities if you’re travelling to any of them.

More news to follow after this, but before we go, here are a few snapshots of what Gays.com CityScene will look like:

That’s very thought-provoking idea. I will come back to your website soon.
