Photos of the Day: Equality Camp SF

January 4th, 2009 2 Comments Gay News

Hello again everyone, and how is your 2009 coming along? For our first post of the year, we are pleased to bring you pictures from Equality Camp in San Francisco. This is a BarCamp event which has a great mission — to “plan MarriageEquality2.0 so that all Americans and their families are treated equally under the law”. Organizers aim to facilitate an inclusive, integrated offline, online and grassroots movement with feedback loops that integrate with any formal campaign. We were unfortunately unable to attend the event ourselves, but thanks to Twitter, we were able to follow some of the interesting discussion going on at #EQcampSF. It’s so wonderful to see netroots activism alive and well in the community! [Many thanks to Chris Heuer for the pictures. More pictures here.]
