well i guess its just an atachment towards the person.. i was in a relationship with someone for 5 years and i left her soo many times but i would always go back with her, it was like an addiction.. u just cant get away.

dont be mad at yourself sweetheart...you lived it and learned from it...time to make up for time lost...my guess is you stayed cuz of the time invested its hard to leave that no matter the circumstances...youre comfortable with them and u hold on to the hope that things might get better...you sacrificed hoping for victory...sorry sweetie
